Description
The darning stitch is a technique in which threads are crossed vertically and horizontally to create a surface as if weaving a piece of cloth. This is originally a mending technique, but it can be combined to create cute designs.
Since a large surface can be filled in a short time, it is ideal for bold designs such as cushions.
The yarns used are mainly wool yarns. Yarns left over from knitting are a great help. Mixing various yarns and using gradient yarns makes the process of creating complex colors fun.
Includes a full-size pattern.
